Amlodipine BSS
Amlodipine Sandoz® Presentations: Each tablet contains Amlodipine 5 mg, 7.5 mg and 10 mg. Indications: hypertension, angina pectoris and vasospastic angina. Administration: initial usual dose is 5 mg once a day with or without food. If necessary, if can be increased to 10 mg once daily. Contraindications: hypersensitivity to amlodipine or other calcium channel blockers or to any component of the tablets. Amlodipine should not be used in patients with aortic stenosis and / or unstable angina or patients with very low blood pressure. Precautions / Warnings: take care with Amlodipine if the patient has heart failure, liver function and / or kidney reduced. Side effects: headache, sleep, dizziness, weakness, palpitations, nausea, digestive problems, stomach pain, swollen ankles, facial redness and feeling hot. Rare: confusion, anxiety, change in taste.
